Sharing with Family

BillManager allows you to share Bill Groups with family members or collaborators through an email-based invitation system.

How Sharing Works

When you share a Bill Group:

  • Invited users receive an email with a registration link
  • They create their own username and password
  • All users with access see real-time updates
  • Payment history is shared across all users

Inviting Users

Prerequisites

  • You must be an admin user
  • The person you're inviting needs a valid email address

Steps to Invite

  1. Go to Admin Panel > Users tab
  2. Click Invite User
  3. Enter the user's email address
  4. Select their role (User or Admin)
  5. Check the Bill Groups they should have access to
  6. Click Send Invitation

The invited user will receive an email with a link to complete their registration. They'll set their own username and password, then gain immediate access to the shared Bill Groups.
