Sharing with Family
BillManager allows you to share Bill Groups with family members or collaborators through an email-based invitation system.
How Sharing Works
When you share a Bill Group:
- Invited users receive an email with a registration link
- They create their own username and password
- All users with access see real-time updates
- Payment history is shared across all users
Inviting Users
Prerequisites
- You must be an admin user
- The person you're inviting needs a valid email address
Steps to Invite
- Go to Admin Panel > Users tab
- Click Invite User
- Enter the user's email address
- Select their role (User or Admin)
- Check the Bill Groups they should have access to
- Click Send Invitation
The invited user will receive an email with a link to complete their registration. They'll set their own username and password, then gain immediate access to the shared Bill Groups.
