What is BillManager?​

BillManager provides a simple yet powerful way to:

  • Stay on Schedule - Configure per-bill reminders for upcoming, due-today, deposit, and overdue events
  • Share with Family - Collaborate with family members using separate Bill Groups and granular access
  • Social Login - Sign in with Google, Apple, Microsoft, or a configured OpenID Connect provider
  • Two-Factor Authentication - Secure your account with email codes, passkeys, or recovery codes
  • Language and Currency Preferences - Use English or German and choose a personal currency that follows you across devices

  • Deterministic Builds - Python dependencies are locked consistently across development, CI, security audits, and production images
  • Modern Runtime Baseline - Supported builds use Node.js 24 LTS and Python 3.14
  • Current Web Tooling - The web application now uses Mantine 9, Vite 8, and Vitest 4
  • Automated Maintenance - Grouped dependency updates cover npm, Python, Docker, and GitHub Actions
  • Validated Images - Every release is tested across backend, frontend, mobile, security, and multi-architecture container builds

Earlier v4 releases added personal currency preferences, category budgets, cash-flow forecasts, settlements, per-bill reminders, English/German localization, provider-neutral SMTP email, generic OIDC, and the internal Mobile Alpha-1.
