Shared Bill Settlements

The Settlements page turns shared-bill payment statuses into a clear view of what others owe you and what you owe them.

Open Settlements​

Select Settlements in the sidebar to see:

  • Total owed to you
  • Total you owe
  • Your net receivable or payable balance
  • Open and overdue share counts
  • Separate lists for incoming and outgoing obligations

Use Mark Paid on your outgoing share when you have paid your portion. The owner sees the payment status and date.

Balances by Person​

The person-level table combines open shared bills with the same person, showing amounts owed in each direction, the net balance, and the number of open shares.

Recently Settled​

Recently completed shares remain visible with the person, amount, paid date, and direction. This provides a lightweight record without changing the bill owner's underlying payment history.
