Planning & Reminders

BillManager combines category budgets, cash-flow forecasting, and per-bill reminders so you can plan upcoming expenses instead of only reviewing past payments.

Category Budgets

1. Add categories to the bills you want to group.
2. Open Analytics.
3. Create a monthly limit for a category.
4. Review its spending progress and over-budget indicator.

Category charts show how spending changes over time, while budgets compare the current month's recorded spending with your targets.

Cash Flow Forecast

The forecast is part of the Analytics workspace. Provide your current starting balance and select a 30-, 60-, or 90-day horizon. BillManager combines upcoming expenses, deposits, and shared-bill payables into a projected balance and chronological list of cash events.

The forecast is a planning aid based on the bills and amounts recorded in BillManager. It does not connect to or reconcile a bank balance.

Per-Bill Reminders

Open a bill and enable Reminders. You can alert on any combination of:

• Due day
• 1 day before
• 3 days before
• 7 days before
• 14 days before
• 30 days before

Alerts cover upcoming expenses, bills due today, deposits, and overdue bills. A floating bell opens the alert drawer. Disable reminders on a bill when you do not want alerts for it.

One-Time Bills

Use the One time frequency for an expense or deposit that should occur once. After that scheduled occurrence is paid, it does not recur in reminders, the calendar, analytics, or mobile optimistic payment handling.
