Language & Currency
Open Settings to choose the interface language and your personal currency. Administrators reach the same page through the header's Admin button and then select the Settings tab.
Interface Language
BillManager currently includes English and German. Translated interface text, dates, exports, print output, reminders, and release notes follow the selected language.
Personal Currency
Each user chooses a currency independently. The preference is stored on the account and follows that user across the web and mobile clients.
Supported currencies are:
USD, EUR, JPY, GBP, CNY, CHF, AUD, CAD, HKD, SGD, INR, KRW, SEK, NZD, and MXN.
JPY and KRW use whole amounts. The other supported currencies use two decimal places.
Changing currency changes symbols, formatting, and amount validation. BillManager does not convert existing amounts or exchange values. SaaS subscription prices remain in USD.
Self-hosted administrators can set DEFAULT_LOCALE for the deployment's regional formatting conventions. Existing accounts upgraded from an older release inherit the former deployment currency once, after which each account owns its preference.
